Spirit of 45 CAF Flyover

airshowIMG_1354On the Morning of August 15, 2015 the distinct and unmistakable sound of World War II bombers and fighters starting their engines will be heard at the San Marcos Airport. Commemorative Air Force (CAF) warbirds and privately owned vintage aircraft, will assemble at the CAF Hangar for an historical flyover. The blue skies of Central Texas, between Austin and San Antonio will be the canvas for an image rarely seen, an armada of period military aircraft flying in formation, to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War II and to honor the men and women of our Greatest Generation.

Wheels up will be at approximately 9:15 AM from the San Marcos Airport. Once airborne the airplanes will split into two groups due to their differences in airspeed.
